Gaming Law Practice:

The gaming sector evolved in the meantime into a market which is not only open to state owned companies but is getting more and more attractive to private entrepreneurs due to its economic importance. Entrepreneurial business in this market is, however, very often subject to strict regulation and requires specific correspondence with the regulating authorities. Our lawyers will create individual strategies and solutions together with the clients taking legal advice regarding gaming law matching with their project or matter.

Our lawyers are – of course – very specialised in gaming law and are therefore able to represent their clients in this sensitive legal field. Not only the know-how regarding the special laws of the State and the Bundeslaender are invaluable but our specialists can draw upon many years of experience with clients working in this gaming sector and a world-wide network in this field. This can make possible communication with the regulating authorities easier.

Conflicts with regulating authorities can often be solved and averted in advance by an appropriate communication strategy, however, sometimes legal steps cannot be avoided. In this case our lawyers will develop a specific and individual proceeding strategy.

The experience made in mandates under gaming law comes along with the topicality of the legal advice which is required by the permanent enhancement of gaming law. We always check continuously data bases and literature specialised on gaming law on new developments – this independently from a special mandate.

Gaming law is also considered as an interdisciplinary matter. A close interaction with the other fields of activity of MELCHERS is therefore a matter of course.
