Nina Moshynska

Nina Moshynska is a Ukrainian patent and trademark attorney and a managing partner in Ukraine of Gorodissky & Partners.

Ms. Moshynska has an extensive practice, covering all aspects of IP rights protection, including patents, utility models, designs, trademarks, copyrights and has a history of successful protection of clients’ rights in courts of law.

Nina Moshynska graduated from Kiev Polytechnic University and Central Institute of Intellectual Property (Moscow). While working as a deputy director of the Ukrainian Patent Office Research Centre from 1992 to 1995, she contributed to the establishment of the patent system and drafting of the legislative framework for the protection of IP rights in Ukraine.

Ms. Moshynska received training at the World Intellectual Property Organisation, and in 1994 she was a member of the Ukrainian government delegation which signed the Trademark Law Treaty in Geneva.

Nina Moshynska was certified and began her activity as a patent attorney in 1996. During this period, she established the Ukrainian Patent Attorney Association and became its first president.

Ms. Moshynska is a co-founder and a managing partner in Ukraine of Gorodissky & Partners.

Ms. Moshynska has many awards from the Ukrainian Patent Office. She contributed to numerous foreign specialised publications, with regard to the IP rights protection.

Ms. Moshynska is a co-founder, the first President and a member of the Ukrainian Patent Attorney Association, as well as a member of AIPPI, INTA, LESI and MARQUES.

Oleksandr Zavadetskyi

Advocate Oleksandr Zavadetskyi is the founder of the firm. He received his Law Diploma from Kyiv National University, started his law practice in 1996 and has been admitted to the Bar in 2001. Oleksandr’s main areas of expertise are Dispute Resolution and Business Crime.

Along with handling large litigation cases for high profile multinational corporations, such as AXA Group, ING Group, ZTE Corporation, British American Tobacco, Oleksandr has been involved into recovery and restructuring of international banks’ NPL multi-billion portfolios in the Corporate and Retail sectors, administration and protection of personal assets in various jurisdictions.

In the Business Crime area Oleksandr has represented clients either on defence or on complainant sides in various cases pertaining to Business, Financial and Civil Fraud and White-Collar Crime. In addition, Oleksandr is experienced in representing commercial entities, including foreign companies in Ukraine, in the Criminal Procedure as well as foreign individuals who get into stress situations in Ukraine.

Peter has served as the Ukrainian general counsel and member of the management team of a multibillion-dollar fast moving consumer goods company with manufacturing facilities in Ukraine and has served as the general counsel of a publicly listed company. Olena S Perepelynska

Olena Perepelynska is a recognised expert in the field of international commercial arbitration, litigation and international trade.

Since 2003, Ms Perepelynska represented clients in more than 70 arbitrations under the Arbitration Rules of the ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICAC at CCI RF, ICAC and MAC at UCCI, GAFTA, LMAA, UNCITRAL and others. The proceedings concerned a wide range of legal issues, including disputes under contractor agreements, international sales, construction and operation of vessels, agency and distribution agreements, joint venture projects, supply of telecommunications equipment and services, insurance contracts, maritime and trade commodities disputes, and corporate clashes.

Olena Perepelynska acted as an arbitrator (including as a sole and presiding arbitrator) in more than 20 arbitrations. She is included in the lists of arbitrators of the leading arbitration institutions in Austria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine.

Olena is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), vice president of the Polish–Ukrainian chapter of the Spanish Club of Arbitration, board member of Ukrainian Arbitration Association (where she coordinates a working group on developing proposals for improvement of Ukrainian arbitration legislation, as well as UAA annual arbitration school).
