Koen De Puydt

Koen De Puydt heads the business law and public law department and is responsible for all real Estate / construction Law and intellectual property matters.

Koen DE PUYDT graduated in 1998 as a degree in Communication Sciences (VUB), while he worked for the independent music magazine RifRaf as a journalist. After his studies, he continued his career as a music journalist with De Standaard and Studio Brussel . At the same time he obtained his Licentiate Degree in Law, specializing in Public Law at the VUB (2002). In 2009 he obtained a Master in Business Law at the University of Antwerp.

In 2002, Koen joined a Brussels niche firm specializing in Administrative Law (urban planning and environmental law, expropriations, government contracts, and protection legislation). In the meantime he remained responsible at De Puydt van Caluwelaert for the files relating to commercial law and intellectual property law.

Two years later, Koen started working full-time at the Puydt van Cauwelaert. He was responsible for matters relating to urban planning and environmental law, real estate law, government contracts, contracting law, business law, corporate law and intellectual property law. He also publishes on these matters.

In 2010 the Puydt van Chauwelaert and GD & A Advocaten merged. Koen de Puydt, as partner, headed the Real Estate / Construction Law and Corporate Law units.

Since 2002 he has been lecturer “Contracts, Assignments and Mandates” at Syntra Brussels in the vocational training for real estate agents. In the course for Real Estate Experts, Koen lesson on construction law. He is the initiator of the Property Codex , a collection of legal texts tailored to the real estate professional. The codex is used throughout Flanders in the vocational training of the real estate agents within Syntra.

In August 2012, Koen co-founded the law firm ORYS. In April 2019, Koen together with Leo Peeters of Peeters Law have decided to set up a new law firm under the name of “Seeds of Law”.

Andreina Degli Esposti

Born in Bologna in June 1960, she graduated magna cum laude in Law from the University of Bologna in February 1984. She also studied at the University of Münster and was admitted to the bar in 1986. She has been involved in research and lecturing in the department of Constitutional Law at the University of Bologna and the departments of Administrative Law at the Universities of Milan and Pavia, publishing various essays and contributing entries to legal encyclopedias.

Throughout the course of her practice – which covers both judicial (predominantly before the Regional Administrative Tribunals and the Consiglio di Stato) and extrajudicial (stipulating agreements with Public Administrations and providing counsel in the administrative areas of M&A and joint ventures) work – she has gained expertise in the sectors of procurement (also concerning the German legal system), environment, telecommunications and town-planning. She also has extensive experience as a member of the Board of Arbitrators.

Currently, she is involved in the professional network of the online administrative law review “GiustAmm.it” and is a member of the Lombardy Association for Administrative Lawyers.

Stephan L. Jervell

Stephan L. Jervell works with litigation, dispute resolution and negotiations, and public law framework conditions for trade and industry, including EU/EEA law. His expertise also includes administrative law, competition law, state aid and procurement law, and contract law. Jervell is admitted to the Supreme Court and litigates regularly before Norwegian courts. He has litigated before the EFTA Court and carried out several hearings before the EU Commission. Mike Shaw

Mike Shaw was born in Canton, South Dakota, on July 18, 1957, and was raised in Pierre. He was admitted to the South Dakota Bar in 1987 and was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota in 1988. Mike served as law clerk to the Honorable James W. Anderson, presiding judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit for the State of South Dakota, from 1987 to 1988 and joined the firm in June, 1988. He is a member of the South Dakota State Bar Association, the South Dakota Defense Trial Lawyers Association, and the International Association of Gaming Regulators.

Mike is a senior partner at the May, Adam Firm in Pierre. He has an extensive administrative law and lobbying practice and specializes in regulatory practices routinely appearing before State Regulatory agencies such as the SD Division of Insurance and the Division of Banking, representing companies and agents. Mike was also nominated by Governor William Janklow to the Governor’s Task Force on Workers’ Compensation. The Task Force did a detailed study on the laws of workers’ compensation in South Dakota and made specific legislative recommendations to the South Dakota Legislature. As a result of that Task Force, significant changes in the laws of workers’ compensation were enacted. In the past, Mike has also lobbied extensively in the areas of workers’ compensation, health insurance, and property casualty insurance.

Rounding out his legal field, Mike acts as General Counsel for the South Dakota Commission on Gaming, and actively participates in both plaintiff and defense trial litigation and routinely appears in both state and federal courts across the state.

John P. Salazar

Mr. Salazar’s professional experience and current practice are in real estate, land use and development law, as well as municipal and administrative law. He has substantial litigation experience, particularly in eminent domain, in which his litigation practice is currently focused.

His real estate experience includes transactional work (sale, purchase, and lease of vacant and developed properties) as well as real estate development work, including comprehensive plan, area plan and sector plan amendments, annexation, zoning, site plan approval, utility extension, storm drainage and access considerations, and traffic, air quality, and environmental studies.

He chaired the firm’s Business Department from 2000 to 2008 and served as the first Chairman of its Environment and Natural Resources Department.

Real estate and commercial transactions in New Mexico include a wide range of projects, from small to large, both local and national. Our attorneys have first-chair experience assisting clients in the planning, acquisition, sale, development, construction, leasing and financing many such projects.

Court of cassation lawyer admitted to the Bar Association of Power, he specialized with honors in Administrative Law and Administration Science at the University Federico II of Naples.

Author of numerous publications in the areas of activity, wrote the books “The new Digital Public Administration”, “Law in the clouds: legal aspects of cloud computing” and is co-author of – among others – of the texts “The websites of Public Administrations “and” How can you open data. “He has also collaborated on some items for the “Dictionary of computer science” published by Treccani.

Since 2006, he has a blog on the Law of the new “Law 2.0” technologies and collaborates with “Wired.it”, “CheFuturo”, “Agendadigitale.eu” and “IlFattoQuotidiano.it”.

Ernesto Belisario was a lecturer in many courses and Master on legal aspects themes of innovation and digitalization (among which are: School of Public Administration, the Interior Administration School, School of Public Administration of the Umbria Region , University of Basilicata, La Sapienza University, Catholic University and Sacred Heart University of Salento).

He participates as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences on business matters.
