Jean-Marie Durand began his career in 1995 in a notary office in Paris before moving to London in 1998, where he qualified and worked as a solicitor. He then spent a decade working between London and Paris, practicing business law in both Anglo-Saxon and French law firms. During this period, he advised a wide range of clients, including investment funds, banks, real estate companies, property developers, and industrial groups, gradually developing an international approach to legal practice.
Alongside this experience, he was registered for more than ten years both with the Paris Bar as an avocat and with the Law Society of England and Wales as a solicitor, before becoming a notaire in 2011.
That same year, he joined DNA Groupe as Partner and Associate Notary and also became partner at DNA Villeneuve. In 2018, he was appointed President and chairman of the holding group company.
He is currently President and Associate Notary at DNA Haussmann, where he remains closely involved in advising clients while also overseeing the firm’s activities. With more than 25 years of experience, he works with individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and institutional clients on matters relating to family law, real estate, and business law, focusing on practical and tailored solutions.
