Mohammed is the name partner of Mohammed Al Sheaily Attorneys and Legal Consultants. He heads the office’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group and is licensed to conduct advocacy for clients in both the primary and appeal courts in the Sultanate of Oman.

Dr. Mohamed Janashal is Founding Partner of the firm. He holds PhD in arbitration law with a cross disciplinary research in Islamic Banking and Finance related disputes from prestigious International Islamic University, Malaysia. Before his PhD, he obtained his Master degree in International Commercial Law from Alexandria, Egypt. He earned his LLB from Mohamed-I University, Oujda, Morocco.

As a qualified lawyer in the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Mohamed enjoys right of audience before all levels of courts, including the Supreme Court of the Sultanate. On account of his wide experience in the dispute resolution, he is also a recognized arbitrator. With more than two decades of law practice, he has a wealth of legal experience that leads the firm’s overall practice. The firm prides itself with his experience in litigation, arbitration, corporate, commercial, Islamic Banking and Finance, mergers, capital markets, regulation, employment, contracts and transactional matters. Mary Mackintosh Allan

Mary Allan is a partner in the firm’s Muscat office. Her practice focuses on energy and infrastructure projects and privatisations. She has extensive experience in the Arabian legal marketplace having lived and worked in the region for over 20 years, including three years in Egypt, four years in Dubai and over ten years in Oman.

Ms Allan has a particular specialty in the power and water sectors, having advised both public and private sector clients over the last 10 years in relation to the Arab region’s ongoing programme of independent power projects. She also advised the Oman government with respect to the region’s only independent desalinated water project to date.
