Additionally, he played a key role in SEB Internationale’s joint venture with Zahran Group, valued at 1 billion EGP. Furthermore, his representation of Edita in its Initial Public Offering, valued at EGP 2,012,882,047.5, earned recognition from IFLR as the Best IPO in the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Hussein also guided Eli Lilly Egypt S.A.E. in the sale of its pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, among other noteworthy transactions.
In the realm of Banking and Finance, Mr. Hussein’s accomplishments include representing prominent financial institutions and companies in various loan facilities. He provided legal counsel to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt, Banque Audi, Banque Misr, and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) in granting an EGP 2.5 billion Senior and Mezzanine Istisn’a Ijara/Istisn’a Facilities to Al Sharkeya Sugar Manufacturing Company SAE, which earned recognition from IFLR as the Islamic Finance Deal of the Year. He also represented Qalah Holding Egypt, EBRD, Arab African International Bank S.A.E., Commercial International Bank S.A.E., and the Egyptian Government in bond issuances, among other significant transactions.
Notably, Mr. Hussein’s expertise extends to publishing, as evident from his COVID-19 Legal Overview in the Berkeley Global Society E-Book.
