Margarita “Migs” Nograles-Almario
Professional Biography
Migs Nograles-Almario is a lawyer, law professor, businesswoman, arbitrator, and former member of the Philippine 19th Congress. She is also a legal key opinion leader with almost 2 million followers across her social media pages, “Atty. Migs Nograles,” where she simplifies Philippine law for audiences across the globe.
She is currently serving as an Undersecretary under the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office. She was named Woman of the Year 2026 at the Asian Legal Business Philippine Law Awards, while her firm, NICLD Law, was a finalist for Rising Law Firm of the Year at the same awarding ceremony.
Before assuming her current role, she worked as an associate at Villaraza & Angangco Law and later co-founded NICLD Law. Her expertise covers civil law, corporate law, labor law, intellectual property, corporate and government affairs, legislative strategy, and arbitration.
She is an accredited arbitrator of the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution (PICCR) and the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI).

Education
Atty. Migs Nograles-Almario earned her double degree in Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration as Class Valedictorian from the De La Salle University and Far Eastern University Consortium in 2018, and passed the Philippine Bar Examination in 2019.
She is currently finishing her Executive Masters of Law at the London School of Economics and Public Policy, specializing in International and Corporate Law. She has also undertaken classes at Oxford University and LUMSA University, where she focused on AI and human rights.
