Yann Beckers

Yann is a banking and finance partner, based in the Paris office, with a focus on acquisition, leverage, real estate, and structured finance. Yann has developed extensive experience in funds finance, including equity bridge and NAV financing. His previous experiences working as an in-house lawyer at CCF (now HSBC France) and in a magic circle law firm have given Yann a particular insight into the issues his banking and institutional clients are facing, and also extensive experience in a wide range of national and cross-border secured financing transactions.

Yann is recognised for his negotiation skills, combining a commercial and pragmatic approach, as well as his technical skills and his commitment to his clients.

He advises on general banking and private debt transactions, including acquisition, corporate, and fund finance, and has also developed a strong expertise in alternative financings such as private placement (EURO PP, unitranche, and mezzanine), factoring, leasing, and cash-management transactions.

Yann has experience of both the negotiation of these transactions and their restructuring. He also advises on their transfer and related French regulatory issues.

His clients include international banks and financial institutions, private debt lenders, corporates, sponsors, private equity, and investment funds.
