António Pinto Duarte

António Pinto Duarte is a Partner and has been a lawyer since 1975. From October 1977 to November 1986, he served as an assistant teacher at the University of Lisbon School of Law, where he taught Real Estate Law and General Theory of Civil Law.

Since 1985, he has worked as a consultant and attorney-at-law for several financial institutions. António Pinto Duarte has significant experience in arbitrations, both as an arbitrator and as an attorney, and is listed as an arbitrator at the Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has also participated in public tenders, acting both as a member of the jury and as an attorney-at-law.

His practice includes the elaboration of public contracts, particularly concession contracts. He has taken part in several legislative studies, including work related to the legal regime of the State-Owned Enterprises sector and the environmental recovery of mining areas.

Since 2004, he has also served as Executive Director of a banking institution. His preferred areas of practice include Civil, Commerce, Banking, Financial, Labour, Mining, and Real Estate Law, as well as Litigation and Arbitration, both national and international. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
