Kathy E. Roux
Originally from New Orleans, Kathy E. Roux graduated from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center. After graduation, she began working for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans, practicing poverty law.
After Hurricane Katrina, she and her family permanently relocated to Texas. She obtained her Texas license in June, 2006, and now has a solo practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, and Guardianship.
Kathy has extensive experience with Elder Law, and Estate Planning. Kathy has a strong belief that proper estate planning today is the best plan. She represents clients in planning their estate that includes but is not limited to documents such as Wills, Revocable Living Trust, HIPAA Authorization, Advanced Directives aka “Living Will,” Declaration of Guardian, Statutory Power of Attorney, Pour-over Wills, Medical Power of Attorney.
She was recognized as a Top Attorney of North America in 2015 by Who’s Who Directories, and Texas Probate Attorney of the Year for 2016 by ACQ5 Global Awards, U.S. (Texas) Customer Service Law Firm of the Year for 2017 by ACQ5 Global Awards, Corporate USA Today – Probate Law Firm of the Year, 2017, Corporate USA Today – Leading Customer Service Law Firm of the Year, 2017, and M&A Today Global Rankings – Law Firm of the Year – Probate Law, 2017.
