Ayako Ikeda

Ayako Ikeda is a seasoned legal professional with decades of experience in both domestic and international legal practice, particularly in the fields of family law and civil dispute resolution. She has been a trusted advisor in a wide range of practice areas, including arbitration, divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, property division enforcement, succession law, and international child abduction under the Hague Convention. Ikeda is also well-versed in drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Fluent in both Japanese and English, Ikeda has built a career marked by legal expertise across borders. She began her legal journey in 1984 when she was admitted to the Daini Tokyo Bar Association and joined Harago Law Office, now known as Harago & Partners Law Office. Her international credentials include admission to Steptoe & Johnson LLP in the U.S. in 1990, and she was admitted to practice law in New York State in 1991.

Throughout her career, she has held several prominent positions, including:
