William H. Aaronson is co-head of Davis Polk’s global Mergers and Acquisitions Group. He advises clients on public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions, joint ventures and other corporate partnering arrangements, corporate governance matters, shareholder activism and other general corporate matters.

Recognition:

In February 2016, BTI Consulting Group named Mr. Aaronson a BTI Client All-Star in its 2016 annual report, which was based on a recent survey of general counsel.

In October 2007, The New York Times listed Mr. Aaronson, along with several other Davis Polk partners, as one of the leading dealmakers on Wall Street under 40 years of age (“Facebook of Wall Street’s Future,” NYT, Oct. 3, 2007).
