Dr. Robert Keiter is a certified family and divorce mediator in Oklahoma. He has been a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM), the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and the Oklahoma Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators (OAMA). Dr. Keiter is contracted by the State of Oklahoma as a mediator for special education disputes and as such is one of four mediators listed on the roster of neutrals by the Special Education Resolution Center (SERC). He is also listed as a practitioner mediator with Mediate.com.

Prior to founding Keiter Mediation LLC, Robert Keiter served as a mediator and Associate Director of National Training with the Mediation Institute in Oklahoma City from 2011-2014. His introduction to mediation began in 1992 at which time he completed Nova University’s Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediation Training. From 1992-2010, Dr. Keiter incorporated conflict resolution theory and skills in various pastoral leadership roles while living in Florida and South Carolina.

As a mediator, Robert Keiter understands the financial, emotional and relational costs to individuals, families and organizations when parties choose to litigate instead of mediate their disputes. As such, he is committed to offering professional mediation as a better way for parties to resolve conflict and make decisions that affect their future.

He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Oral Roberts University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelors in Music Performance from The University of Texas at Arlington.
