Dr. Robert Keiter

Dr. Rob Keiter is a mediator, trainer, and educator who leads Keiter Mediation, a provider of professional mediation training and education serving participants nationwide. His work is grounded in active mediation practice and a commitment to helping individuals and professionals resolve conflict effectively and constructively.

Keiter Mediation has provided professional mediation training and mediation services since 2015. The practice places a particular emphasis on working with self-representing parties and supporting voluntary, pre-court mediation—especially in divorce and custody matters, where parties seek to reach agreements without litigation. All mediation services and trainings are offered in a convenient online format.

Dr. Keiter maintains an active family mediation practice in Oklahoma and is approved by Oklahoma courts to serve as both a family, divorce, civil, and commercial mediator. His mediation experience informs the design and delivery of Keiter Mediation’s training programs, ensuring that instruction is practical, realistic, and grounded in real-world application.

In addition to his work with Keiter Mediation, Dr. Keiter serves as Program Coordinator for the Oklahoma Special Education Resolution Center (SERC), where he facilitates the resolution of special education disputes between families and schools.

Dr. Keiter is a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators and the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section.
