George Iakovou is the founder and managing partner of the Legal & Financial Firm in Cyprus, The Grey Arrow. He studied law in the United Kingdom, and he has been a registered member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2010.
His practice is primarily focused on Corporate, Commercial, Entertainment, and Real Estate law, as well as on the licensing/authorisation of Investment Firms and Alternative Investment Funds.
George’s passion and commitment to achieving excellence throughout each project ensures that the client will receive reliable, effective, and bespoke service.
His firm is regarded as a one-stop shop for applicants (international producers and film studios) who seek authorisation/licensing and ongoing legal support regarding the preparation and handling of their application to the Cyprus Film Scheme Committee. George’s experience and expertise in Commercial and Entertainment law will safeguard the interests of the applicant, and it will further ensure the smooth operation of the project during the stages of the film’s Development, Pre-production, Production, Post-production, and Distribution.
In addition, George has reputable experience in legal advisory and regulatory legal support for the operations of Investment Firms and Alternative Investment Funds. He is a board member in a number of Cyprus Investment Firms and the exclusive legal advisor of one, which ranked in the top 10 Cyprus-based Investment Firms.
