Batibié Batis BENAO
Professional Biography
Batibié Batis BENAO is a seasoned lawyer and an expert in Development Policy and Management of Extractive Industries. With a strong foundation in business and investment law, he has extensive experience offering comprehensive legal advice, handling litigation, conducting audits, and providing legal training and research. His work spans both the private and public sectors, focusing particularly on legal structures within the extractive industries and public procurement.
He currently serves as the Managing Partner at SCPA LEGALIS Advisory, a role he has held since January 2019. His involvement with SCPA LEGALIS goes back to 2011, where he has led the Mining and Public Procurement Division. As a co-founder and senior partner, he has overseen the legal departments dealing with public, land, mining, and social law. In addition to his practice, Batibié is also the Director of Publication for “Le Sceptre”, a legal and judicial review contributing to legal awareness and scholarship in Burkina Faso.
Previously, from 2004 to 2010, he practiced law at Cabinet Mamadou Savadogo, focusing on social law, debt recovery, and public law litigation.
