Flick Gocke Schaumburg:

Tax-focused

Flick Gocke Schaumburg stands for tax-focused legal advice. We combine outstanding expertise in German and international tax law with specialist know-how in other areas of business law particularly relevant to our clients.

By concentrating on tax and tax-related fields and thus working in a selection of specialist areas of business law for over 40 years, we have gained a degree of expertise which enables us to provide our clients with expert and comprehensive advice.

Our clients are often confronted with highly complex issues that are not limited to isolated topics. To solve them, we take an interdisciplinary approach. Roughly half of the partners and associates of Flick Gocke Schaumburg are lawyers, the other half being certified tax advisors and public auditors.

Specialized

Our proven specialists apply their in-depth knowledge of tax and commercial law in eight core areas of expertise.

We are an established market leader in corporate tax law and international tax law, and we offer comprehensive advice on indirect tax.

Our expertise in corporate law goes hand in hand with in-depth knowledge of employment and labor law, competition law and real-estate law. We assist our clients with national and international mergers and acquisitions, disposals, venture capital and private equity transactions, and complex restructurings.

We provide comprehensive advice to high-net-worth individuals, family-owned businesses, foundations and not-for-profit organizations on all tax and legal issues related to wealth management and succession.

In tax-crime and white-collar matters we cover the entire spectrum from risk assessments and compliance to voluntary disclosure and representation in criminal proceedings.

Our interdisciplinary approach enables us to combine legal and tax advice with profound economic expertise. Services in the areas of auditing and business valuation we render through FGS Flick Gocke Schaumburg Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.

National and international companies as well as professional market observers regard us as leaders in our core fields of expertise in Germany. Administrative and legislative officials regularly seek our advice.
