Donna J. Jackson

Donna J. Jackson is a nationally-recognized attorney, authority, speaker and educator in estate planning. Ms. Jackson is a CPA and hold a Masters Degree (L.L.M.) in Elder Law. With over 28 years of legal experience, she mostly practices in estate planning with an emphasis on Medicaid, VA Benefits, and special needs planning, including revocable, irrevocable and special needs trusts, wills, durable power of attorneys, and living wills. Additionally, Donna’s practice includes taxes, probates, and business organizations.

Attorney Jackson is an animal lover – as seen by the office’s Chief Canine Office (C.C.O.), Rico, who is Donna’s newest and smallest dog. Her 3 other fur babies are a bit bigger and rarely make it to the office but she loves them just the same.

Donna currently serves on the board of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; she’s on numerous committees of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, and many others. She has been a keynote speaker for the Oklahoma Bar Association, Strafford, and the National Business Institute (NBI). Kathy E. Roux

Originally from New Orleans, Kathy E. Roux graduated from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center. After graduation, she began working for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans, practicing poverty law.

After Hurricane Katrina, she and her family permanently relocated to Texas. She obtained her Texas license in June, 2006, and now has a solo practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, and Guardianship.

Kathy has extensive experience with Elder Law, and Estate Planning. Kathy has a strong belief that proper estate planning today is the best plan. She represents clients in planning their estate that includes but is not limited to documents such as Wills, Revocable Living Trust, HIPAA Authorization, Advanced Directives aka “Living Will,”  Declaration of Guardian, Statutory Power of Attorney, Pour-over Wills, Medical Power of Attorney.

Felipe Ospina Acosta

Felipe Ospina is a partner at DLA Piper Martínez Neira (Colombia), where he leads the tax law practice and actively participates in mergers and acquisitions transactions.

His previous practice was focused on tax litigation and consultancy for companies in the agricultural, insurance, cement, energy, pensions, metallurgical and telecommunications sectors, among others. He has advised government entities on issues related to public finances, tax law and telecommunications regulations, and has significant experience in tax planning both of companies and families.

Before joining the firm, he was a senior associate at Philippi Prietocarrizosa & Uria (2012-2014) and Plazas Vega Abogados (2005-2012).

Therèse Kemp

My normal work includes division of property, handling estates – foreign and Danish, preparation of wills, hereby also succession/estate planning, prenuptial agreements, custody cases and representation of heirs in larger estates.
I have autorization as “Bobehandler” – attorney for the Court of Lyngby in more complicated cases regarding division of properties in divorces.
I have been a teacher at the University of Copenhagen and “Danske Advokater” (the association of attorneys in Denmark) for a number of years in the topics private clients and also succession/estate planning for the Danish Chamber of Commerce.
