Dentons Kensington Swan Welcomes Return of Senior Lawyers, Adding to Powerhouse Construction Offering
Dentons Kensington Swan continues to go from strength to strength, welcoming the return of two Senior Associates to our Auckland Major Projects and Construction team during a dynamic period of growth for the team and the Firm.
Kate Henderson began her career at Kensington Swan (now Dentons Kensington Swan) in Wellington, before a short stint at MFAT and four years in the Construction Advisory and Disputes Team at Pinsent Masons LLP London. Kate says “After nearly five years away, it’s great to be back home in New Zealand and to re-join Dentons Kensington Swan. I look forward to bringing the knowledge and experience I have gained overseas back into my NZ practice and catching up with familiar and new faces in the market.”
Also Kensington Swan Alumni, Stephanie Panzic began her career in our Auckland office and has spent the last four years at Fenwick Elliott LLP, a specialist construction and energy law firm in London. Stephanie comments “I am excited to return to Dentons Kensington Swan and what is now a global firm. I am looking forward to bringing the skills and knowledge I’ve gained from my time overseas to support our clients.”
Speaking about the appointments, Head of Major Projects and Construction Stuart Robertson, says, “We are thrilled to have Stephanie and Kate back on board. Their return demonstrates our drive to attract the best and brightest legal specialists for our clients.”
These senior hires come at a time when the Major Projects and Construction team continues to grow stronger. As there continues to be so much disruption and uncertainty in the infrastructure sector, the recent promotion of rising star Madison Dobie to Senior Associate in our Wellington team adds to the strong expertise and bench strength of the firm to support our clients on their most complex projects.
Robertson continues, “It is a testament to the culture we bring to the workplace, that strong talent returns after developing their expertise overseas. Both Kate and Stephanie, together with Madison, add further depth to Dentons Kensington Swan’s market leading strength in the construction and infrastructure space.
