Amaury Sonet is a distinguished French lawyer specializing in corporate, compliance, consulting, and litigation. Currently an associate lawyer at VALMY AVOCATS, he was named a partner (“avocat associé”) at the firm in March 2025. With a strong presence in the French legal community, he serves as a Membre du Conseil de l’Ordre at the Paris Bar Council (Barreau de Paris), where he plays a key role in overseeing professional practice, supporting the startup and AI incubator, and combating the illegal practice of law.
In addition to his legal practice, Sonet has been a professor of corporate law at the Institut de Droit des Affaires, Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, since 2013. He is also actively involved in professional networking and mentorship through his volunteer role at BNI France, which he has held since 2017.
