Born in New Delhi, on 4th December 1955, and Educated in Mumbai and London, Ramni Taneja enrolled as an advocate on the roll of the Bar Council of Maharashtra (Mumbai), subsequently transferred to the Bar Council of Delhi. She was admitted subsequently as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (now known as senior courts of England and Wales).
