Managing Partner Albert Birkner is Head of Department of Takeovers & Antitrust. Albert became partner at CERHA HEMPEL in 2004 and has been with the firm since 1995. He completed his education at the University of Vienna (Mag. iur. 1992, Dr. iur. 1995) and at the University of Cambridge (LLM 1995). Albert specializes in mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, as well as joint ventures with a special focus on Austria and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE/SEE).
