Helga á Borg is an attorney-at-law who has experience in advising private clients in all aspects of family law, including drafting and revision of appropriate wills and prenuptial agreements, representing clients in custody- and matrimonial cases etc., and conducting cases before Danish and Faroese courts and boards of appeal.
Helga is experienced in representing private and commercial clients in matters regarding real estate, including building and construction, sale/purchase and dispute resolution. She also represents clients in matters regarding the law of torts.
Helga also represents corporate clients regarding general commercial matters, investments and financing; litigation; debt recovery and insolvency.

There are five lawyers working at the firm, who all studied law at universities in Denmark and have extensive experience of advising corporations, public authorities, private individuals and foreign governments on all legal aspects of operations in the Faroe Islands, also in relation to international negotiations and drafting of legislation.
